The Botswana settlement of Kazungula has traditionally extended a warm welcome and hospitality to all its visitors and this tradition is proudly continued at Kubu Lodge (named after the Setswana word for Hippo, which abound in the river.

More than 400 different bird species can be seen in the area and the elusive Chobe Bushback is regularly seen on the nature trail.
