Chobe
National Park covers a diversity of landscapes ranging
from riverine forests to floodplains and periodic
marshlands.
The
area is home to the largest concentration of elephants
in Africa, as well as an abundance of hippo, buffalo,
antelope and lion.
Botswana's
land mass is slightly larger than that of France.
The
country spans the tropic of Capricorn. Classified
as semi-arid, evaporation exceeds rainfall monthly.
